We Are Coming to Aero Gatineau-Ottawa!

We’re thrilled to confirm that the Virtual Snowbirds will be making our first airshow appearance at Aero Gatineau-Ottawa, taking place from September 12 to 14, 2025, at the Gatineau–Ottawa Executive Airport.


Highlights to Look Forward To

  • Virtual Snowbirds Display (2025): A live presentation featuring members of the Virtual Snowbirds showcasing a dynamic demonstration of formation flying.


  • Virtual Snowbirds Solo Display – Saturday Morning: Watch as our solo pilot takes to the skies in a thrilling standalone VR performance.


  • Virtual Snowbirds Formation Display – Sunday Morning: Experience the precision and teamwork of a Virtual Snowbirds Formation Flying Display, bringing the spirit of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds to the virtual skies.


  • Fly Like a Snowbird: Step into the cockpit for an immersive formation-flying experience with instruction from members of the Virtual Snowbirds. Get wingtip to wingtip and feel the thrill of precision aerobatics.


  • CF-18 Aerial Refueling Challenge: Test your skills by piloting a CF-18 behind a CC-130 Hercules tanker — and see if you can refuel before time runs out! The best time each day wins a gift card from Pit Lane Sim Racing.


  • Warbird Saturday: Get behind the controls of virtual replicas of the Potter Collection’s very own North American P-51D Mustang and Supermarine Spitfire. Step back in time and experience the iconic warbirds that shaped aviation history.


Event Schedule

Friday, September 12: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Evening show featuring a drone display and the Snowbirds at dusk)

Saturday, September 13: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (includes Warbird Saturday and the Virtual Snowbirds Solo Display)

Sunday, September 14: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (includes the Virtual Snowbirds Formation Flying Display)
